This License governs the commercial, corporate, enterprise, institutional, research, development, deployment, modification, and fine-tuning of the G1-360M_V18.2_PRODUCTION_F16 artificial intelligence model ("G1").
GSS-LLP grants eligible users broad rights to use and adapt G1 for legitimate business and technical purposes while retaining ownership of the original G1 intellectual property.
Subject to this License, GSS-LLP grants the Licensee a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual license to:
Unless separately agreed in writing, this License does not impose per-user, per-device, or per-inference royalties.
G1 may be used throughout an organization, including by:
The Licensee is responsible for ensuring that its authorized users comply with this License.
The Licensee is expressly permitted to fine-tune and customize G1 to meet its own business requirements. Permitted applications include, without limitation:
The Licensee may use its own proprietary datasets, prompts, evaluation datasets, business rules, retrieval systems, and software to customize G1.
The Licensee may create and use fine-tuned or otherwise modified versions of G1 and may commercially deploy such versions or incorporate them into products and services.
Where a derivative model is distributed outside the Licensee's organization, the Licensee shall:
Nothing in this section prevents the Licensee from owning and protecting its own independently developed modifications, business logic, datasets, prompts, configurations, evaluation systems, or other proprietary materials, subject to applicable third-party rights.
The Licensee may build commercial products and services using G1. The Licensee may:
GSS-LLP does not claim revenue generated by the Licensee's independent products or services merely because those products incorporate G1.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GSS-LLP does not claim ownership of ordinary outputs generated through the Licensee's use of G1.
The Licensee is responsible for determining whether outputs are accurate, lawful, appropriate, sufficiently tested, and suitable for its intended use. The Licensee remains responsible for compliance with applicable privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, regulatory, contractual, and sector-specific requirements.
GSS-LLP retains all rights, title, and interest in the original G1 model and GSS-LLP intellectual property, including:
This License grants usage rights and does not constitute a sale or transfer of ownership of the original G1 model.
The Licensee retains ownership of intellectual property independently created by the Licensee, including, where applicable:
Nothing in this License transfers such independent Licensee intellectual property to GSS-LLP.
The Licensee may redistribute G1 or a derivative of G1 where reasonably necessary to provide a commercial product or service. Any standalone redistribution must include:
The Licensee may not remove required third-party license notices.
"G1", "G1-360M", "GSS-LLP", "Gaston Software Solutions LLP", and associated logos or marks remain the property of their respective owners.
The Licensee may truthfully state:

when G1 is incorporated into the Licensee's product or service. Such statements must not imply that GSS-LLP has endorsed, certified, sponsored, or partnered with the Licensee unless a separate written agreement exists.
G1 may contain or depend upon third-party software, libraries, tokenizers, datasets, or other components. Those components remain subject to their applicable licenses. This License does not override or replace third-party licenses, and GSS-LLP grants only those rights that it is legally entitled to grant.
The Licensee shall use G1 in accordance with applicable law. The Licensee shall not knowingly use G1 to facilitate unlawful activity, unauthorized access to systems or data, fraud, infringement of intellectual-property rights, or other prohibited conduct.
Nothing in this section prohibits lawful security research, testing, auditing, compliance activities, or legitimate defensive use.
If G1 is deployed in a regulated or high-impact environment, the Licensee is responsible for implementing appropriate safeguards. Such environments may include:
The Licensee is responsible for appropriate validation, human oversight, security, monitoring, testing, and regulatory compliance.
GSS-LLP does not warrant that G1:
The Licensee is responsible for testing and validating G1 before deployment.
The Licensee is responsible for securing its deployment of G1, including where appropriate:
GSS-LLP is not responsible for security failures caused by the Licensee's deployment environment or configuration.
This License is perpetual unless terminated in accordance with this section. GSS-LLP may terminate the License if the Licensee materially breaches the License and fails to cure that breach within thirty (30) days after receiving written notice.
Termination does not affect rights that accrued before termination or ownership of independently created Licensee materials. Following termination, the Licensee shall cease new distribution of the licensed G1 model and derivative models to the extent required by the applicable termination.
Unless superseded by a separately executed written commercial agreement, this License shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
The parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith commercial negotiation. Where negotiation does not resolve the dispute, the parties may pursue remedies available under applicable Ugandan law.
This document constitutes the license terms governing the use of G1 unless the Licensee and GSS-LLP have entered into a separate written agreement that expressly supersedes or modifies these terms.
A separate enterprise agreement may provide additional rights, warranties, support obligations, service levels, indemnities, or commercial terms.
By downloading, installing, deploying, fine-tuning, integrating, distributing, or commercially using G1-360M_V18.2_PRODUCTION_F16, the Licensee acknowledges that it has read, understood, and accepted this License.
